Our Story

“Laying Rumors to Rest”

The North Carolina Paranormal Investigation Team was started by Lead Investigator Kaleb Brown in the Summer of 2020 alongside Cody Evans. We currently have 3 active investigators as well as 5 assistant investigators on our team. Our goal is to respect sites while looking into the history and legends of locals. Our ultimate goal being to either confirm or deny the presence of paranormal activity.

Arcadia Road’s Historic Haunt

The Hampton House

One of the oldest homes built within the state, the original one room cabin was constructed along Muddy Creek in the 1700’s before the state even existed before being moved toward Hampton Road and built into a larger home. This was the site of our first investigation, while inside we experienced several EMF spikes and one of our investigators being “touched” by a spirit.

Investigation Procedures

During our investigations, we arrive around an hour or two before sunset to get a history of the location and stories from families/employees of a site. If the site is open to the public at night we tend to show up around sunset to investigate. Our team sets up equipment and shuts off the breaker if permitted to keep EMF interference to a minimum. Afterwards we begin our investigation, spending 1-4 hours using our equipment around the site. We do not believe in or use ouija boards, tarot cards, seance circles or other “alternative” methods for locating paths paranormal. We look for measurable and major activity that cannot be explained through science.
